logged in user nav selected / current list item not working in php

    I am using:

    <?php bp_get_loggedin_user_nav(); >;

    but in this file in Buddypress:

    buddypress/bp-members/bp-members-template.php

    the list item li.current or li.selected is not working – pulling through

    Can anyone help me to fix it without editing the buddypress/bp-members/bp-members-template.php core file?

    (I am not a php coder just front end designer but I will try my best to understand but please put in fairly laments / non php coder terms 🙂

    Anybody have any clues with this? Getting the current or selected list item to work / pull through from the PHP for the loggedin user nav.
