Login Button Conflict

Hi,
I am using a Rockettheme template in a new install of WordPress and BuddyPress.
The Login / Logout button formatting is being impacted by BuddyPress. If I disable BuddyPress it displays with RT formatting. When BP is active the button and text are nearly invisible.
I am not familiar with Buddypress files … can you direct me to where I can turn off the format for this element in BuddyPress?
