login for buddypress

    I’m new to Buddypress, so forgive me. Some Buddypress sites have a small pop up login for their sites. How is that achieved. Is there a plugin for that? I’m at my wits end trying to figure out how that happens. Thanks. WordPress 3.5, I’m not sure which version of BP I have. I think it is 1.5.

    probably a jquery lightbox/popup but don’t ask me how to actually make one of those things

    It is not a lightbox. How are logins handled in Buddypress. How do you avoid getting the registration page all the time?

    there is no difference between BP login and WP login the only thing that can be a bit different is registration.
