Login page redirects user to the dashboard of WP

    Hey everyone, again.

    When a member goes to the home page of our community, they are directed to the ..domain/wp-login.php page, then after logging in, they are taken to a slim-down version of the backend of my site: they can see the Dashboard, then their profile information.

    I messed up something, evidently. Just need to get this back to square one where they can be directed to the activity page.

    Hi Glenn, how did you set up the redirect to the dashboard in the firstplace? you’d probably need to modify that code to redirect to the activity page.

    Good question @venutius. If I am correct, I did not setup a redirect. However, can you share a link that describes what you are referring to and I’ll look at it?

    There’s quite a few different ways a redirect can be put in place. If you did not specifically set it up that I’d be thinking this must a side-effect of a plugin. Maybe you could deactivate all plugins apart from BuddyPress and see if the redirect is removed?
