Login redirect not working

I have used a plugin on a multisite network. There are two issues that need fixing.
First, the login redirect needs to be directed to the users profile page. Currently is it going to the home page.
Second, the “activation confirmation email” is redirecting to /wp-login.php. I would like this to also go to the users profile page please?
