Looking for Sample Content

Hi All,

I’m trying to pitch BuddyPress as a viable solution for some people I work with. Does anyone have some sample data/content available I could use to populate my working installation. I’m not pitching to techies, so I’m trying to provide them with the most complete example possible. Even something like the demo data on the BP demo site would be great.

do you mean users and groups to work with ?

Users, groups, friends, wire posts, activities, forum postings, etc.

Anything I could import to my db to “fill out” the site without having to tell all my friends and family to go register and setup a dummy account.

why not just direct them to another site with BP? The demo BP site is probably a good example…

Well I dropped here looking for sample data only.

BuddyPress is really big and it will be great if we can have sample data.

I need lots of data during development of BuddyPress themes.

There’s a plugin like this to populate WPMU content, but not one for BuddyPress yet.

Keep your eyes on the “WPMU Demo Data Creator” and see if the author updates his plugin to include BuddyPress.
