I saw, then somehow lost, the widget for posting a site wide, front end viewed, admin to site users message. When the widget was available, I never found where to add the content – the message. Documentation showed the widget and a sample message in the site header displayed, I didn’t see where to add content. I don’t even remember what it’s called to look up info again. It’s been hours of searching and trying to figure this out, please help?
– I no longer have the widget
– I never saw how to add content for the message to display, only title in the widget
Any ideas on how to get that feature back?
How do I add content?
If you are talking about site-wide notices – there is a default widget called “(BuddyPress) Sidewide Notices” that just displays notices. You should create them on “Profile -> Messages -> Compose” page, with “This is a notice to all users.” checkbox checked. Make sure you have BuddyPress Message component activated.
