Maintenance, Spam and Activity Problems

all most updated versions I believe.1. We have a maintenance post above login area on our main page that shows up to unregistered members but no clue on how to get rid of it.
2. Spam bots have found a way around our Captcha, could it possibly be that the original wordpress login is still functioning and using that to get around our buddypress registration that is protected?
3. The post button is missing from where we post activity/updates on our profiles and any additional plugins for activity wont show up or work as well as us not being able to post activity.
