Make register page as my default landing page buddypress

I am newbie to wordpress/buddypress and i am creating a social networking website. When anyone hits a url, the default screen with sidebar and the activity content is displayed even if he is not logged in. But i want just the registration form and login form to be seen just like in facebook. How can i achieve this?

@bphelp i have tried this tutorial, but it doesnt seem to work well. o may be i am missing something and i am not able to figure out. but as far as know i followed almost all the steps mentioned in the tutorial.

Hi @saish_neugi

Under Settings > Reading > Front page displays, make sure the radio button for A static page is selected. Then from the Front page dropdown make sure you select your register page.
