Markup in profile field descriptions?

Is there any way to use HTML, markdown, or any other type of markup syntax in the descriptions of extended profile fields?

I would even be glad if it would just turn URLs into hyperlinks.

It does though, have you tried creating profile fields? what version of BP have you got installed?

O. M. G. I just went to test this and make a screenshot for you and sure enough it does work! I swear it didn’t before, but clearly it was user error. Sorry to waste your time.

Now if someone could just give the same answer to my other question that would be awesome! 😉

So far it looks like it supports things like A and STRONG, but not BR, H3, or H2.

Any way to get more block-level control in here?
