Masking of Membership ID in URL

I would like to hide/encrypt the member id passed in the URL, as i see it as a security issue, when anyone can change the member id and land on that members profile page and can view all the details which is not right.
Maybe there is already a solution, if there is please guide me that will be very helpful.
