Member by Letter not showing anything in directory

For some reason, while I can see all the members in the member directory, when I click on any letter in the alphabet, it shows nothing. Any ideas why nothing would show?

You aren’t going to get much, if any, response without bp version info, what theme you are using and a link to your site.

I’m using bp version just prior to 1.0.2
