BuddyPress.org

It seems to me (and I may be alone on this) but when most people come to a member directory, then expect the letters at the top (A, B, C, etc) to refer to a person’s last name, not their first name. But that’s not how BuddyPress has it working. It make sense for people who are using an alias or username, but not for people who are using their real name.

It would be great, for example, if there was a way to see if there is a space in the name and make sure it gets put in the directory under the second (or last name) instead of the first name.

Any work around around for this?
