member is a subscriber and an adminstrator at the same time

I wanted my buddypress profile to be

    website-example.com//members/myname/

    instead of

    website-example.com//members/admin/

so I registered a second time using my name as the username (with a different email address) and set both instances to administrator. I was planning to then delete my admin instance but WPMU wouldn’t let me do it. Now it won’t let me delete the second “my name” instance either, even though I re-set that to subscriber. It tells me

User cannot be deleted. The user is a site admnistrator

What can I do and what should I have done?

Running WPMU 2.9.1.1 BP 1.2 clean install

Have you tried doing it directly inside your database? (backup before) That way you can brute force things like this. I guess it’s a bad idea to do it with your “admin” account although.
