Members Directory error loading when use the Order By: dropdown menu.

    hi.. my bp site is getting error in Members Directory page, the error started when i sort the member list by the dropdown menu “Order by:”, the result in shorting always display the home pagea in the Members Directory page. it display 2 page.. 1 is Members Directory page and the other is the home page, its layered…, and when i login the problem dissapeare, the error only shows when user not login.., im using bp 162 , wp 35

    need help..

    It looks like some scripting error my suggestion would be to first (if you can) try the default theme with your plugins just to see if works. Failing that (if you can) try removing plugins to see if those work. My thinking is it’s a plugin causing a partial page load and those visual issues.

    thx for your reply, and sorry for my late response..:), i develop a new site n im having the same problem, ive tried all your suggestion.. but nothing works for me..:(, here is the link to the site .., im using wordpress 3.5.1 n bp 1.6.4

    Perhaps an ajax conflict ?

    If you change the Order By, it will dynamically load the home page, as you said.

    But if you then click the Members link, the members page is displayed per your Order By selection.

    Follow the advice from karmatosed – deactivate all plugins except WP and BP AND use the default theme. Does the problem still exist ? If not, then you have a problem in your custom theme.

    wooww.. thx shanebp and karmatosed…:) i use the underconstruction plugin https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/underconstruction/  and it was the problem, now my site works perfectly… 🙂 thx again ..
