Hi,

I am having a website created for me but the programmer is unable to make an important change so I here to ask for some help (I am not a programmer myself)

Users on my site login via Twitter and instead of using the twitter handle (example @arsenalvision) it uses the first name. I need my site to only use the twitter handle.

It works fine for latest members but not for the comments section, searching for members or friends list

I would really appreciate some help on this.

you must be using some kind of plugin for twitter login/registration right? Best asked at that plugins support

It seems that the comments and friendship function abilities are core things of buddypress not external plugins.

Can anyone help with this?

Ahh yes I see. I’m not entirely sure. Apparently what I am in need of changing is code from BuddyPress.

Does anyone know another way to get a problem fixed if you don’t get a response on here? I really need help.. oh and on my website also 😉

I seem to be struggling to get many responses for my problem.

Does anyone know any buddypress experts I could pay to solve this issue? I would really appreciate a response.

(old but still working)
