message timestamps are wrong

    @piphut

    So I sent a private message to someone on my site and noticed immediately after it was sent that the timestamp said “4 hours and 1 minute ago”. I clicked on a few more messages and sure enough all of them are tacking on 4 hours to the actual sent time.

    I don’t think it was always like this but I didn’t notice when it started happening.

    Any suggestions to fix this?

    @takeo – just searched through the tickets and didn’t see anything. Do you have a link?

    This patch appears to be working for me… Thanks for the ticket link.

    Ok got this back to the right section…
    Original patch worked time wise the first time, then didn’t allow me to receive messages…
    Tried altering the 7 files in the the 002 .diff file here: https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/2203
    It ended stating that the messages sent were 10 years 6 months ago… Double checked to make sure I applied code correct.
    Removed Code and now it’s back to saying private messeages, just sent, were sent 5 hours ago.

    Has this been fixed for 1.2.5.

    In my inbox, the time of the last message received is correct but then when you click on the message to read it, it is just displaying, ‘sent sometime ago’ and nothing more specific.

    Is this a known bug?
