Missing admin bar and login/logout function in sidebar

    A planned upgrade old BP 1.1.2 removed, old theme files removed all plugins deactivated, bp 1.2.1 uploaded along with new child theme all tested as working 100% on local dev reactivate BP but no other bp plugins enable new child theme, check widgets ok in sidebars, visit site however there is no admin bar nor is there the logged in link in sidebar

    firebug reports this error which isn’t happening locally

    jQuery("div#members-list-options a").livequery is not a function

    Notes it as /bp-core/js/widgets-members.js

    Back in dashboard to try and remove widgets for the moment to reduce back to basics but widgets are not wanting to be opened or moved?

    Has any one an idea of what may be happening or anything to tackle in particular

    Running with a custom page used as a static front page complete with dynamic sidebars and posts page set to a blank page causes issues with missing admin bar and no sidebar. Setting front page to Activity stream and posts page left as the new blank page and issue is resolved. At the moment I can’t see where the problem lies especially as the site functions on a mirror version locally with custom front page.
