Missing argument error when logging in

I receive the following error when logging into wp:

Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in /home/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-options.php on line 293 and defined in /home//wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 990

Any help on how to repair this would be appreciated.

Have you updated WordPress to 3.5? If so, you’ll need to update BuddyPress to 1.6.2, and this error will clear.
