Modify Profile Welcome Message

Hello,
I am using the WOffice Theme, and would like to make a modification and I’m having trouble implementing it.
The header bar has the user welcome message with their photo/avatar to the right of it. I would like to display between the user name and image/avatar the employee’s title and tier.
For example: If their title/tier is Geosteerer I would like it to concatenate “1st character 1st word”, “4th character 1st word” and “1st character 2nd word” — GSI
So the welcome message would read: “Hello, [first_name}, GS1 | (Profile Image)”
