Modify whos online widget to get Friends online widget

Hi,

I need help with modifying the “Whos online widget” to get only the users friends who are online instead of getting all users across the website.

I knw this must be a small condition that i need to put in bp-core-widgets.php.

Can anyone point me to this.

Actually, it only shows friends but you could modify it to show the friends who are online. Or I can do it when I get a free minute.
