Move User settings page to another location

Im building a custom buddypress theme and i would like to show the settings page for a user (where they can change password – members/username/settings/ ) into another page.
Basically i want to show a tabbed solution on the profile page (members/username/profile/edit/group/1) where a user can either change the profile or their accounts settings.
I tried moving the plugin.php content into the profile page but im not getting any output at all.
Any clue on how to do this?
