MultiSite Blog works Fine, BuddyPress links not so much

My site is running 3.0-beta multisite – http://jorjafox.net
The site itself runs perfectly how I want it to. I wanted to add BuddyPress functionality because it’s seductive!
Once I did that, all the BP specific URLs failed. /activity and /members and so on and so forth.
My registration page was bounced to http://jorjafox.net/register/ which, as a BP link, failed as well, so I had to turn it off for now.
I’m using Apache and my .htaccess rules are hunky dory for everything else.

How beta is 2.0? If it’s like WP 3 (i.e. mostly baked, a few rough edges) then sure. If it’s ‘Only Devs!’ I’ll hold up

No, BuddyPress works with MU. I have it working fine on an MU site. WPMU 2.9.2 and BP 1.2.3.
