My Widgets are messed up

I decided not to use BuddyPress on the site that I am working on, so I deleted the plugin. But now my widgets are out of sync. In the back (admin) I have no widgets on the left sidebar, but in the front, “Categories” and “Archives” are showing there. How can I delete them?
I originally had Atahualpa, switched to BuddyPress default theme, and went back to Atahualpa.
