Need to fix an error before activating buddypress…..

I don’t have buddypress activated currently because I need to fix an error. I need to get the loop into my single.php page, but I am having some trouble making it happen. i have get_post() in there now, and I want to remove it so the page can display the correct post. On my homepage, if you click on the “Yesterday’s Shirt” link, you are supposed to be taken to the previous day’ s post, but you just get the post being called by the get_posts() method on the page. I have tried to just pop the loop into the page, but I get the error that the post is not found, but I assure you, it does exist. Please help. Thanks!

have a look at the single.php file of another theme. it’s all in there. your template seems kinda ancient. also, your question has nothing to do with buddypress, so there’s no reason not to activate it.
