New BuddyPress for WordPress 3.1?

Yesterday I am trying out wordpress 3.1R2, and find it use the top menu bar as buddypress doing, and buddyprss menu bar can only been displayed when in admin mode, when i switch to webpage viewing mode, cannot find buddypress menu, whether buddypress will address this issue in coming version?

I pretty sure 1.3 will use the WP menu

by that, I meant we will use the WP admin bar if we have time. Otherwise, the current solution is that we hide the WP admin bar when used with BuddyPress.
