New to BP, need help building “karma system” and sorting rated posts.

Hello! I’m fresh to word/buddy press, but excited to use it on my current project.
My site has members submit, rate, and review content. (Think trip advisor). I installed rating-widget (http://rating-widget.com/) and it does allow users to rate posts and pages, however I want this to be part of the user’s review process. IE you can’t just rate something 1 star, you have to explain your answer and they will show together. I also want blog posts on my pages, (I found a plugin for this), organized by rating. Anything out there that might cover this?

I am trying to come up with a way to make “user karma.” Basically the way I am picturing it is when someone posts a comment on my site there is a “was this helpful?” question with a thumbs up/down. One would get a point for every thumbs up, one taken away for thumbs down. Sort of an incentive thing. Users “karma” will stand out, and therefore give them credibility as they use the site. Any way I can make this work for users writing, and commenting on blog posts?Sorry for the long winded questions. I hope someone can help point me in the right direction! Thanks in advance
