No RSS feeds are coming in

    WP 3.5.1
    BP 1.7

    My goal is to import RSS feeds into my groups. Not a single plugin I’ve tried has worked. I was thinking that this had to do with the plugins being out of date, but then realized that all my RSS feeds on the dashboard home are broken as well:

    “RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: couldn’t connect to host”

    Is there some problem on the server side of things that I’m not aware of? We’re on a Linux development server. TIY!!

    there are definitely some known issues regarding rss feeds and we are working to overhaul the entire system in the next version of buddypress more info can be found here:

    Thanks @ubernaut for keeping us updated. Most of my feeds are working now with the exception of one. It sounds like generally there’s alot of buggyness across wordpress with regards to feeds and with similar mime type error messages showing not only in Buddypress
