    Hello!
I am working on a intranet for the company I work for. We have installed buddy press on a wordpress site at our local hosted server.

We have already registered all the pepole at the company but now when we want to add avatars it seems to going wrong. I got the “upload” step, and then the “crop” settings, but there is only a black box (no picture) and I can move the thing that shows where to crop the photo. But since I don´t see anything I just crop the picture on a guess.

What do I do? I need to release the intranet soon so hope you guys can help me.

( I have treied to deactivate all plugins (not budypress, I don´t want to risk anything) I have read other topics but I dont understand).

    Hi @marknadsafeteam

Take a look at the markup used in bp-legacy’s change-avatar.php file. You’ll need to stick with most of the class names and IDs in order for the JS to work properly.

    Hope this info helps!

    Hello @henrywright!

I´m not sure I understand what you mean, this is from the file buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-avatars.php (inactive). Iam using the theme twenty twelve, can it have something to do that wordpress is installed local?

I think you will find that it is to do with your image naming. Try uploading a single worded image name with no dashes etc and see if the cropping tool works then
