Notifications when someone posts in group?

Hi there,

I have created a couple of groups on my website and would like users to receive a notification whenever someone has posted something new in a group. But I can’t for the life of me figure out how to do this… am I missing something? Or do i need a Buddypress extension or another plugin?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi, thanks for the info! But I’d like them to receive the notifications via their profile, not email.

Currently, you only receive notifications when someone replies to one of your comments or mentions you, but i’d like people to get a notification whenever someone posts in the group.

@tomdum Seems it will require a custom development work
