Number of times mentioned?

    Does anyone know a quick snippet to show how many times a logged in user or displayed user has been mentioned?

    I have a plugin I’m working on that displays info on your profile about a users site activity. BP does not record mentions but tags a notification and then removes when you view notification. You would have to plug into the notification and save an ongoing tally of mentions.
