Page Templates page.php

WordPress 4.0, BuddyPress 2.1.1

I’m trying to create a page template for the Activity Stream page.

I created it the standard WordPress way, selected it in the page editor but BuddyPress defaults to page.php.

I then created page.php in themes/mytheme/buddypress/activity/ but it still defaults to the page.php in the root of my theme. Furthermore any templates I create in this location do not appear under Edit Page.

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks henry,

I looked at that before but must have been half asleep!

Simply added index-directory.php to themes/mytheme/buddypress/activity/
