[Resolved] Pages not working

    @jhlorimer

    I am using the following:
    Wordpress 4.7.2
    Buddypress 2.8.0
    with the Socialize theme.
    My site is http://www.sagedrops.com

    I have created the following pages that Buddypress tells you to create initially: Members, Activate, Register, Activity. When I click on preview for each of these pages, it just displays the title of the page (members, etc), not the actual content that is supposed to be there. Am I missing something basic or is there a problem that is preventing these pages from showing the actual content?
    Thank you,
    Jody

    Does this have to do with the permalinks settings? If so, what should I be using?

    Hi Jody,

    BP pages should be empty, so it is normal you see only a title in the page preview. These pages are dynamic and completed by BP, depending the context. As site owner, you have nothing to add to them.

    To get the page system to work correctly, you have to enable the permalinks. You can choose any option, except “by default”. Don’t forget to save your setting.

    For more details, please read the documentation.

    I visited your site, but was unable to access the member directory page or site activity page. Seems you require user to be logged in to access them… 🙁

    Thank you for your reply. I finally realized that my permalinks had index.php in them. Once I removed that, the pages seem to work fine.
