[Resolved] /people/[username]/settings/profile/ shows a template with no content

I’ve seen a few threads about this but one said it was a bug that was fixed in BP 2.0.1 and another had no suggestions that worked.

    WP 4.0.1 BP 2.1.1

Are you sure it isn’t your theme?
To confirm, switch to a WP theme like 2012.

You’re right, it was a theme issue. I just needed to copy members/single/settings/profile.php from bp-default into my theme.

    Thanks.

    Glad it worked.
Unless you’re explicitly using the BP default theme, you should use the templates from here:
    buddypress/bp-templates/bp-legacy/buddypress

    [yeah, it’s not intuitive]

Thanks for the tip. I’ll try to remember that for next time. But copying from bp-default and modifying it slightly fixed the bug so I’ll stick with that.
