BuddyPress.org

Ok I have been working with wordpress for just over 1 year now.. and i have recently dived into buddypress.. site was looking awesome everything worked as it should apart from when i hit the create group button.. it would take me to a funny looking profile page which was missing my avatar and it was jumbled up.. so i decided to delete the groups page then create a new one and re associate it with buddypress pages.. yaaayyy it worked now when i created a group it took me through the steps fine.. but now the buddypress admin bar gives me a 404 error page not found on every link and I cant view profiles at all…. please help I am going mad I havent changed anything since because I knew i would make more of a mess..
