Plugins number for normal social network

    hi,
    I’m working on my first BP based social network (actually, first webpage at all).
    I wonder if in developers area is some rough number of plugins, optimal for the normal operation of average BP network.
    I mean, if I need e.g. 35 plugins and on localhost site works fine, will this amount stop/kill my webpage when there will be 100, 1000 etc. users and blogs?

    I got 45 running on mine! Everything works swimmingly…. 1000+ active users and 100s of updates per week….

    VPS with 1.5 gig of ram…. I’m thinking this will hold me until 10,000+ users easy based on CPU usage
