    No OS/platform wars please.

Which browsers you were using would have been far more interesting that what platform you were using. I have not confirmed this myself but if you can recreate this – perhaps testing on http://testbp.org/ – please submit it as a bug on https://trac.buddypress.org/. You can use the same username and password that you do here.

ah, so annoying… tried to use my current login information to report the bug with no luck. I even hand entered my login information for buddypress on my IE browser which doesn’t have the password saved to ensure I did have the correct information and yes, I do have the correct password so it appears I have to create yet another profile for reporting a bug and I guess I will report that as well …

catinw12, you shouldn’t need to create any new profiles anywhere. All of the .org sites should provide you a unified login/password combo to use on wordpress.org, bbpress.org, buddypress.org, and all of their respective trac’s.

yeah, I know but it didn’t work. So I went into the bp account settings and changed my password and that was the trick. The default password apparently did not propogate to the other .org sites.

Just posted the a bug report. Sounds so much like Starship Troopers.

login using my user/pass for wordpress.org didn’t work for me either. I had to create another login to post here.
