“Post Update” Button disappeared in the activity stream

Since i’ve updated the the latest buddypress version 2.4.0, i can’t post update to my activity feed. When i refresh the page, i see the button then it disappears after less than a second. I’ve seen where someone on-line complained about it, but they were talking about BuddyBoss theme. That they said they fixed. But not with the other themes.

Need your help ASAP!!!

Which theme do you use ? You have probably to ask for this on the theme support if it is not one of WP’s twenty something themes.

The Theme i’m using is the 2014 theme…I’ve tried different themes, same issue.

@adjunkten…Thanks. That really helped. I’m not that much of a “techie” (not sure if that’s how they spell it) so i disabled the bp activity privacy. If only they have a similar plugin without the conflict.
