BuddyPress.org

Hey there! I’m completely new to both WordPress and BuddyPress and was hoping I could get some help! I’m trying to adjust some of aspects of the posting system that comes with BuddyPress.

I’m trying to allow users to only post to others’ profiles a maximum of once a week and show an error message saying they can only post once a week if they try to post more frequently. To be clear, users can post to as many walls as they want (as they can now) but can only post on any one wall only once a week. Posts from previous weeks should be shown further down the page, and should be accessible by clicking on “See older posts” (this is similar to Facebook). Secondly, if the owner of the wall comments on a post on their wall, their comment should be located immediately after the original poster’s comment and should be titled “response”.

Is there any combination of plugins/code that I can use that can help me achieve this? Has anyone try something similar or played around with posting on BuddyPress?
