Hi! Hard to say only looking from the outsite. To really confirm what happned requires looking at the code and database. So, I guess you won’t get valuable feedback here.
I’d recommend asking your developer to check the code. See if something changed, a plugin or custom code. Because with the provided information, it is unlikely someone will do more than guess.
🙂
maybe you accidentally deleted it, and you forgot about it
Definitely not, but thanks.
I don’t have a developer. Is there another avenue for BuddyPress support where I might ask?
Hey there.. @mizschmitty
What theme are you using?
Try rebuilding..
Tools -> buddypress -> repopulate
Hello @mizschmitty Does it mean that when you publish something it immediately disappears? with the images for example? Or that you publish everything normally and then the publications disappear?
You could try all the steps in this debug guide, as answer-2 basically mentions that you could refresh your permalinks, which might just be as simple as that.
Thank you. I’ve refreshed the permalinks.
No, it doesn’t immediately disappear. One example I have is a user posted a status update with a photo on Dec 21st. The photo is still on the site in the media library, but the post associated with it has disappeared.
In another example, the post was live and a 2nd user was adding a comment/reply to the post when the screen suddenly refreshed and the post disappeared.
X theme by Themeco. Thanks for the suggestion. I did the repopulation and the posts have not come back.
