Posts from font end not showing up in activity.

Im using a plugin called “One Quick Post” which is great and lets my users post from front end. The posts show up everywhere for the author but the activity stream for that author. For instance, I created a loop in the sidebar to show the latest posts for an author and those posts from the plugin show up there but dont show up in the regular activity stream nor when I filter it for recent blog posts. Any ideas on why?
