Private message & Member list filter by role

Hello everyone,
I have to answers regarding private messaging system and members list.
First, I would like to know if it is possible to sort members by role in the member list page.
Secondly, is it possible, when writing a private message, to have a member list appearing when filling the recipient name ? I don’t really know how to explain it in English, so here is a picture (found on WPMU website) :
