BuddyPress.org

Ive seen this issue addressed a couple times but I think I am using Buddypress a little differently and need some help to see if this is possible and the best option. I am not trying to create a social site, but more an extended profile page where users can see, once logged in, their profile pages which I will be extending to allow them to subscribe to feeds of items being posted on the public side. I want only the user to see their profile page but have full access to the public site at all times. Is this possible using Buddypress and how can I make the member’s profile page only available to them.
