I’m wanting to create a private workspace, but the only file upload options I’ve seen so far – BP Group Documents and Forum Attachments for BuddyPress – store uploaded files in a public location, so that even if the forum is secured by Absolute Privacy or a similar plugin, the attachments are open on the web for all to see.

Is there a way to allow users to upload files in a way that makes them visible only to logged-in users? Or is there a way to make the core components allow file uploads in way that is secured by other plugins? My apologies if I’ve missed something obvious.
