I’m using a third party plugin to set default cover and avatar for new users. But BP is still using gravatar and returns the following url as the src of the default avatar:

http://www.gravatar.com/avatar/145e38498e4b12699290ae578d577331?d=http://www.example.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/thirdpartyplugin.jpg&s=100&r=G

an then it’s redirected to:

i2.wp.com/www.example.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/thirdpartyplugin.jpg

Now I need one of the following solutions:

1 – getting https://i2.wp.com/… instead of http
2 – Completely ignore gravatar and returning http://www.example.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/thirdpartyplugin.jpg
