Problems in 1.2.10. have these been fixed by latest 1.51?

    1. the default AVATAR doesnt seem to be displayed at all
    2. All new registered members are labelled as SPAMMERS? Is that supposed to be or which usergroup are they supposed to be in? shouldnt there be a setting in the backend panel as well as the front dropdown ?
