Problems with translating

    Hi.

I’m having problems with the activation of buddypress.

    I get this error:

Fatal Error: Could not activate the pluggin

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /home/mammabl1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-blogs.php on line 231

This happends when im trying to use a Norwegian translation file that i have created.

Have the newest BuddyPress (this is my only pluggin), and the latest stabile release of WordPress MU.

I had to delete my last installation of BuddyPress becase when i activated it (with a wrong

version translation file) the whole backoffice became white – no links, no Nothing..

I did not delete anything in the database when i uploaded the pluggin manually again to

try it with my new translation file. Should I do that, If so, what should i delete?

Can somebody please help me out here alittle? This is starting to be really frustrating

LOL, I have been trying to get this to work for a few days now..

Your PHP requires more memory. There’s a few ways to achieve this, depending on server configuration, but try putting this in your wp-config.php:

    define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '64M');

Thank you for trying to help me out her :)

I still get the same error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 30720 bytes) in /home/mammabl1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-blogs.php on line 231

I tried both 64 and 96, but i still get the same error

Then it’s not working. You probably need to either talk to your host and ask them, or edit your server’s php.ini file.

    Ok, thanks again.

I have sent them an email.
