Profile Field Must be Unique

    Hi,
    I have BuddyPress but i create some new fields in the profile and now i need that when a user register in that field he can put the same than other user how can i do it ?

    Only if i didn’t understand your question, you do nothing ! This is default behaviour.

    Example: you create a field called City.

    3 users answered New York. And everything is going well.

    If a user click on New York on one of these profiles, BP will show him the 3 members who answered New York.

    No, for example some user try to register and there is a field called “Last Name” so when he imput there ABCD and other already registred user have in the field “Last Name” ABCD the new cant register because there are already a user with this last name
    Thats what i want to do. How can i do it ?

    BP use only Name (aka nickname) and the WP registration process.

    Unique name possible ? Not really
