Profile matching

    Im trying to create a dating site using buddypress. Is there a plug in or code option that allows for profile matching. I want people logged in to be able to see profiles that match their interests.

    Hi,

    there is a small and very simple built-in fonctionnality in xprofile component which let you find other users who used the same value. The value is clickable, or if it is a textarea value, the 5th first words.

    Ie. you have a field “city”. User A enter New-york, user B enter Sacramento, user C enter New-york, userd D enter Dallas.
    If somebody visit A’s profile and click on New-York, he will see a user list containing user A and user C.

    For more granularity, finer search, multi search, etc, you have to find some plugin or to hire a developper to built something from scratch.

    Is there a specific plugin? Any suggestions on coding it myself?
