Profiles for Groups

I am working to configure BP for use as a CMS with my organization and searching for a way to extend BP to allow specific profiles for Groups, much the same way as exists for Users. I would be happy to elaborate as needed, and any assistance or direction would be greatly appreciated.

I am fairly new to BuddyPress and if I am missing an obvious way to do this, I apologize for the redundancy.

Not sure what you mean, but you can extend groups with the Group Extension API
